Meet Maria!
Maria is a former public school administrator who has turned a longstanding love of service, flowers and color into a thriving wedding floral business. Our story began in 2020 during the pandemic, when we crafted and gave away flower arrangements to brighten homebound community members' days. As things began to open, and weddings were rescheduled, we started getting requests for City Hall weddings, micro-weddings. and engagement celebrations. From there, we’ve designed displays for larger weddings and non-profit events. The rest is history!
A lifelong learner, Maria enjoys attending classes and workshops to keep up with contemporary ideas for today's weddings. Our primary flower source is Mayesh Flowers, a high-quality wholesaler of flowers and greens. We are committed to being your partner in floral decor and taking the worry out of your hands so you can focus on enjoying the months leading up to your wedding day.

Mary has been with Fleurish with Flowers for 3+ years. Her background is in professional theater and event design. She has produced and directed fashion shows, concerts, festivals and multi-location events. Fleurish With Flowers allows Mary to combine her appreciation of beauty with her organizational skills. Her expertise ensures your installations and set-up will go smoothly.

Paradise is the newest FWF team member. She is a mixed media artist, mural assistant, and performing artist. She has worked at San Francisco and Bay area museums and nonprofit organizations and received her BFA in Studio Art from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Paradise also holds an MA in Museum Studies from San Francisco State. She enjoys floral design as a form of creative expression and as a medium of sculptural creation.

Floral design is a creative, collaborative process and it's important to us that we're a good fit.
For this reason, we start with a brief questionnaire and 30-minute design consultation. In addition to getting to know each other, this gives us a chance to hear your ideas for design, size, theme, and the vibe you're looking for. Fleurish With Flowers will tentatively hold your date during the design process and for 5 calendar days after our follow-up meeting.
After gathering all this information, FWF will draft a design proposal, followed by a walk-through consultation with the couple to make changes, adjustments, and edits. Everything looks great? Fantastic! We will then proceed to a service agreement and a down payment, which officially reserves your date in our schedule.
I met with Maria early on to look at the venue and talk about possible arrangements and decorations for the venue of our wedding rehearsal dinner. I am not good at all with colors or arranging, but Maria is very knowledgeable and guided me through a number of possibilities. We communicated a few times between then and the night of the rehearsal dinner. That night the room was absolutely beautiful. Everyone commented on the arrangements and the colors of the flowers.”
